William J. Mallon, MD

William J. Mallon, MD, is an ophthalmologist surgeon providing patient-centered care at Center for Advanced Eye Care, located in Vero Beach, Florida. 

Born and raised in Flint, Michigan, Dr. Mallon received his Bachelor of Science in physiology from Michigan State University and his Medical Degree from Wayne State University, where he graduated as a member of the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

After a one-year internship at Methodist Hospital in Memphis, Dr. Mallon completed a three-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Tennessee. He then completed a one-year fellowship in ophthalmic plastic and reconstructive surgery with Ophthalmic Plastic Surgical Associates of Memphis.

He is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and fellowship-trained in Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract & Refractive Surgery. He has also held the position of President of the Florida Society of Ophthalmology.
