Thomas Mathews, MD, FACC, is board-certified in cardiology, internal medicine, interventional cardiovascular and cardiac catheterization. He is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Mathews earned his medical degree from the Medical College University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. He completed his residency in internal medicine, cardiology fellowship and an interventional cardiology fellowship at Medical College University of Pennsylvania hospitals. Dr. Mathews is the director of the catherization labs at Brooksville and Spring Hill Regional Hospitals. He has performed more than 10,000 cardiovascular interventions.
