S. Jay Mathews, MD, MS, FACC, FSCAI, is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He earned his undergraduate degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in New York and his medical and master’s degrees from Tufts University in Boston. He completed a residency and fellowships in cardiology, advanced cardiac imaging and interventional cardiology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Dr. Mathews specializes in complex peripheral arterial and venous endovascular interventions, structural heart interventions and complex coronary interventions. He is a co-chairman with the New Cardiovascular Horizons Conference, a national principal investigator of several clinical trials and an international lecturer on endovascular therapies.
