Mona Patel, OD

Mona H. Patel, OD, is a board-certified optometrist and the owner of Bayhead Eye Centre. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Central Florida in 1996. She went on to earn her Doctor of Optometry degree from Salus University (formerly Pennsylvania College of Optometry) in 2001. Dr. Patel is trained in pediatric eye exams, contact lens fitting, diagnosing and treating sight-threatening ocular diseases, ocular emergencies and co-managing postsurgical care for cataract, glaucoma and LASIK patients. She is a member of Optometry Divas and The Eye Physicians of Central Florida. Dr. Patel joined Bayhead Eye Centre in 2016 and took ownership of the practice in 2022.
