Mel Richardson, MD, is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology and American Academy of Pain Management. He is also certified by Cenegenics, the oldest integrated age-management organization in the country, and the Age Management Medical Group. Dr. Richardson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Mississippi and his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He served his internship in the Department of Surgery at David Grant Medical Center, Travis Air Force Base in California, and his residency in anesthesiology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Department of Anesthesiology, Lackland AFB in Texas. He is trained and licensed by the Institute for Neurological Research in the patented procedure of using prescription ENBREL for chronic neck and back pain, Alzheimer’s and other dementia diseases. Dr. Richardson is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, Society of Ambulatory Anesthesiologists and American Academy of Pain Management, among other professional associations.
