Matthew A. Cunningham, MD, FASRS, is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and a Doctor of Medicine degree cum laude with honors in research from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Cunningham completed an internship in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine and a residency in ophthalmology at Baylor College of Medicine Cullen Eye Institute in Houston, TX. He also completed a fellowship in vitreoretinal surgery and diseases at University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa. He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, American Medical Association, Florida Medical Association and Seminole County Medical Society.
Dr. Cunningham is available for Patients at the Florida Retina Institute Locations in Lake Mary, Orlando,
Mount Dora, Clermont and Lady Lake.
