Logan T. Vander Woude, DO, MPH, is a board-certified ophthalmologist who is fellowship trained in cataract, cornea, refractive and glaucoma surgery. Dr. Vander Woude graduated as valedictorian of his medical school class at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, where he was given the Dean’s Award and inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his three-year ophthalmology residency at the University of Florida, during which he was elected chief resident. He then completed a one-year dual fellowship in cornea, refractive and glaucoma surgery at Your Eye Specialists in Plantation. Dr. Vander Woude earned his undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, downstate from his hometown of Green Bay. He later earned a Master of Public Health degree and completed a fellowship in global health, leading projects in Nepal, India, Ghana and Florida.
