Jason E. Reiss, DO, is Fellowship Trained in Joint Reconstruction. Dr. Jason Reiss is a board certified and fellowship trained specialist in hip and knee replacement and revision surgery. He graduated from the University of Florida, and attended medical school at Nova Southeastern University. He spent a year of surgical internship training at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine, then went on to a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he was named chief resident in his last year. Dr. Reiss completed an additional fellowship specializing in total joint reconstruction at the world-renowned Pennsylvania Hospital, part of the University of Pennsylvania. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, the American Osteopathic Association, and the American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. Dr. Reiss devotes much of his practice to joint reconstruction, and is one of only a few surgeons offering minimally invasive anterior hip replacement, hip resurfacing, and patient specific total knee replacement. Both natives of Florida, Dr. Reiss and his wife Kristin are happy to be serving the Southwest Florida community. Together, they have two sons, Andrew and Ryan. Dr. Reiss enjoys sports, fishing, and diving as well as spending time with his family.
