Elias C. Mavrofrides, MD

Elias C. Mavrofrides, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned a bachelor of science degree from the University of Florida in Gainesville and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Medicine. Dr. Mavrofrides completed a transitional internship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX, and an ophthalmology residency at Baylor College of Medicine Cullen Eye Institute. He also completed a vitreoretinal fellowship at University of Miami Bascom Palmer Eye Institute in Miami. Dr. Mavrofrides is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, Florida Society of Ophthalmology, Central Florida Society of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, Seminole County Medical Society and Lake-Sumter Medical Society.
