Benjamin J. Thomas, MD

Doctor Thomas holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology from the Presbyterian College and earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina. He completed an internship at the Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City and an ophthalmology residency at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute. Following residency training, Dr. Thomas completed an international ophthalmology fellowship at John A. Moran Eye Center, at the University of Utah and a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship and associated retinal consultants at William Beaumont Hospital. Dr. Thomas was a voluntary assistant professor of ophthalmology at Bascom Palmer Eye Institute.
