Alexander C. Barnes, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Barrett, The Honors College at Arizona State University in Tempe. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. Dr. Barnes completed an internship in internal medicine at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland and an ophthalmology residency at Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He then completed a vitreoretinal surgery fellowship at Emory University in Atlanta. Dr. Barnes is also a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Retina Specialists.
