Thomas A. Barnard, MD

Thomas A. Barnard, MD, is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Stetson University in DeLand and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the University of South Florida in Tampa. After graduation, Dr. Barnard completed an internship and ophthalmology residency at St. Luke’s Medical Center in Cleveland. He went on to complete a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases and surgery at West Virginia University in Morgantown. Dr. Barnard is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Society of Retina Specialists, Central Florida Society of Ophthalmology, Florida Society of Ophthalmology and Schepens International Society, an organization of retina specialists who completed fellowships under the direction of Charles L. Schepens, an influential Belgian ophthalmologist.

Dr. Barnard is available for Patients at the Florida Retina Institute Locations in Lake Mary, Daytona Beach, Titusville and Orange City.
