Ronni M. Chen, MD, earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Biomedical Science with Highest Distinction from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and her medical degree cum laude from the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor.  She went on to a Transitional Internship at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey.  Dr. Chen then completed both a Residency in the Department of Ophthalmology and a Fellowship in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas.

Board certified in Ophthalmology, Dr. Chen has published numerous clinical journal articles and a book chapter.  She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association and American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus.
