Ronald D. Gardner, MD

Ronald D. Gardner, MD, did his undergraduate work at Samford University in Birmingham, Alabama. He remained in Birmingham to earn his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Gardner then completed a general surgery internship in the department of surgery and an orthopedic surgery residency in the department of orthopedics and rehabilitation at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Medical Center. He also completed a sports medicine fellowship at the American Sports Medicine Institute & Orthopaedic Center back in Birmingham with well-known doctors Jim Andrews, Bill Clancy and Larry Lemak. Dr. Gardner is a member of the American Medical Association, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Lee County Medical Society, Florida Medical Association and the Andrews Society.
