Richard Steinfeld, MD, MBA, FAAOS

Richard Steinfeld, MD, MBA, FAAOS, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey – New Jersey Medical School in Newark and completed his general surgery internship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. He served as a flight surgeon at the Naval Air Station Key West, FL, where he was Head of the Aviation Medicine Department. He returned to the Mayo Clinic to complete his residency in orthopaedic surgery and received the Mark B. Coventry Clinical Research Award. Dr. Steinfeld completed his Clinical Fellowship in Knee Surgery at Austin and Repatriation Medical Center in Melbourne, Australia. He has received the U.S. Navy Achievement Medal for Heroic Achievement and the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal for Meritorious Service.
