Kristi Lord, DNP, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CWS, is an advanced practice registered nurse with more than 20 years in the field. A Florida native, she earned a Master of Science in Nursing and Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Frontier Nursing University in Versailles, KY. Her nursing experience is varied, mostly concentrated on the geriatric population and wound healing. She is certified by the American Board of Wound Management. She is also certified for hyperbaric therapy. Kristi’s passion is to promote wellness through wound management and reduce recurrences through education. Her theory of practice is to educate the patient, perform wound management through evidence-based modalities and promote overall health and wellness.
