Kevin M. Barber, MD

Kevin M. Barber, MD, is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from Lee University in Cleveland, TN, and his medical degree with highest honors from the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville. Dr. Barber completed an internship at the Mayo Clinic Graduate School of Medicine and an ophthalmology residency at Emory University in Atlanta. His special interests include laser refractive cataract surgery, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery and international ophthalmology. Dr. Barber is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He is the president of Advanced Center of Eyecare Global (ACE Global), which is striving to eradicate preventable blindness throughout the world.
