Howard F. Hermans, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general and vascular surgeon. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Vassar College in New York and his medical degree from what is now the Rutgers School of Biomedical and Health Sciences in New Jersey. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, Florida Vascular Society, Florida Society of General Surgeons, Florida Medical Association, Manatee County Medical Society, Hillsborough County Medical Association and American Medical Association.
