Heather Schuerlein, AP, DACM, LAc, Dipl OM, is a board-certified acupuncture physician. She holds two master’s degrees, in acupuncture and oriental medicine, from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Northeast College of Health Sciences in Seneca Falls. She completed her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Health and Science (formerly Pacific College of Oriental Medicine). Her training also encompasses Chinese herbal medicine, tui na (Chinese medical massage), qi gong and Eastern dietary therapy. Dr. Schuerlein also received training in Japanese acupuncture theory and techniques. She has worked in various settings, including the Seneca Falls Health Center and Canandaigua VA Medical Center in New York. She is a member of the Phi Chi Omega honor society and studied abroad at the Zhejiang Provincial Hospital of Chinese Medicine in Hangzhou, China.
