Gregory L. Henderson, MD, FACS, who is board certified in both internal medicine and ophthalmology, was founder of the Brandon Cataract Center and Eye Clinic, and a native of Brandon. He received his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of South Florida, where he also completed residencies in both internal medicine and ophthalmology. Dr. Henderson is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a Diplomate of both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is a member of the American College of Eye Surgeons, American Intraocular Implant Society, Tampa Bay Ophthalmological Society, American Society of Internal Medicine, Kerato-Refractive Society, and the American, Florida and Hillsborough County Medical Associations. Dr. Henderson is on the medical staff at Brandon Hospital, Tampa General Hospital and the Brandon Ambulatory Surgery Center.
