Dilip “Dr. Samy” Rathinasamy, MD, is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Samy completed his undergraduate education at the University of Miami, then returned home to Tampa, where he earned his medical degree at the University of South Florida College of Medicine. After a transitional year internship at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, VA, Dr. Samy completed a residency at the prestigious USF Eye Institute. When his training was concluded, Dr. Samy opened a practice in Brandon, then joined Florida Eye Specialists & Cataract Institute in 2016.
