
David Salek, MD, is a double board-certified anesthesiologist and interventional pain management physician specializing in nonoperative orthopedic and spine injuries, minimally invasive procedures for back pain, neuromodulation and kyphoplasty. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Missouri at Columbia in 2009 and his medical degree from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine in 2013. He later completed an anesthesiology residency at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville in 2017 and a pain medicine fellowship at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, in 2018. Dr. Salek has published papers in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as stem cells and anesthetic pain blocks. He has also presented research projects nationally and internationally.
