David A. Napoliello, MD, FACS, is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He earned his undergraduate degree at Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA, and his medical degree at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC. Dr. Napoliello completed his residency in general surgery at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, PA, and a fellowship in minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic surgery at Mayo Clinic Jacksonville. He is past chief of surgery for Venice Hospital and Lakewood Ranch Medical Center. In addition, Dr. Napoliello has been voted one of the top general surgeons in Sarasota and Manatee counties by his peers and patients for the Castle Connolly list of America’s Top Doctors 15 years in a row.
