Richard E. Gayles, MD

Richard E. Gayles, MD, is board-certified in anesthesiology and pain management. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology from University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and a Doctor of Medicine degree from University of Michigan School of Medicine. Dr. Gayles completed an internship at St. John’s Hospital in Detroit, and a residency in anesthesiology and critical care medicine at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore. He remained at Johns Hopkins Hospital for a pediatric anesthesiology fellowship, then completed a chronic pain fellowship at Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Ohio. Dr. Gayles is a member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, RSD Syndrome Association of America, International Neuromodulation Society, International Spinal Injection Society and American Society of Regional Anesthesia.
