G.S. “Jack” Guggino, MD

G.S. “Jack” Guggino, MD, completed his undergraduate education at the University of Tampa, where he majored in biology and English. Following graduation, he attended the University of Miami School of Medicine, then completed a one-year rotating internship at Tampa General Hospital. Next, Dr. Guggino entered the US Public Health Service and was stationed in Staten Island, NY. During his four-year stay in the service, Dr. Guggino completed a one-year general surgery program, two years of glaucoma research and a one-year ophthalmology residency. Following his residency, Dr. Guggino completed a one-year
fellowship in pediatric ophthalmology at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC.
